Who writes MoneyCalcsHub, where the numbers come from, how often we check them, and how we fix mistakes.
Every calculator page is written and fact-checked by the MoneyCalcsHub editorial team. We are a small team building reference tools for personal finance arithmetic. We do not hold out individual authors as licensed professionals, no page on this site is presented as the work of a CPA, CFP® or attorney, and no page is personalised financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Use it to understand the maths, then confirm anything that touches a real decision with a qualified professional or with the official source linked on the page.
Figures that change by law or by official release are taken from the primary source, not from another calculator site:
Each tool page lists the specific sources it used, so you can check any figure against the original document.
Worked examples are arithmetic illustrations using the inputs listed on the page. Before publishing a new or materially changed calculator, we execute the script from the generated page and check it against independent calculations, including relevant boundary and invalid-input cases. A successful HTTP response or a default-input smoke test alone is not treated as proof that a result is correct.
Errors happen, and the fastest way to get one fixed is to tell us. Write to [email protected] with the page URL, the inputs you used and what you expected. We aim to answer within five business days; when a correction is warranted we fix the page, republish it, and move the last-updated date. Substantive corrections are noted on the page itself rather than quietly changed.
The calculators are free and always will be. The site is funded by advertising (Google AdSense) and display ads may appear on these pages. Advertising never changes a calculation, never decides which tool we build, and never buys a favourable result or ranking, we sell no placements and publish no paid reviews. Advertisers have no access to the numbers you type, because those stay in your browser.
